Plastic Surgery

Have you ever done something and regretted it later? You’d probably be hard-pressed to find someone who would answer “no” to this question. Indeed, most people have at least one (potentially humorous) story about something that seemed like a good idea at the time, only to discover later that it wasn’t the best choice.

It’s an unfortunate fact of life: as you age, your body tends to hang on to more fat that it once did and it becomes even harder to get rid of. You eat right and exercise, yet you still can’t seem to burn off those extra few pounds. Often, people go to extremes in search of results but end up with the same stubborn fat they had when they started.

The most important consideration when choosing a plastic surgeon is the doctor-patient relationship. You need to feel comfortable with your plastic surgeon and know that he has your best interest at heart. Second, it is important that you choose a board certified plastic surgeon. It is difficult to predict the number of treatment sessions that are required for tattoo removal. Tattoo removal involves multiple treatment sessions. The closer the pigment is to the surface and if there is a smaller volume of the pigment within the skin, then fewer treatments may be necessary.

Liposuction is not for every patient. Expectations of liposuction can be extremely high while the reality of what can actually be accomplished can be somewhat disappointing. Liposuction is not a weight loss procedure and is not offered as a treatment for obesity. It is tool used alone or in combination with other surgical procedures such as an abdominoplasty to achieve a more aesthetic body contour.
